Will and Kristina’s engagement session was almost rescheduled. We debated with the rainy forecast, but we decided to go ahead with it and it went so well! A couple different reasons encouraged us to face the rain and Will’s shoulder injury and go through with it, including both of their work schedules and the fact […]

When Kimberly reached out to me to photograph their wedding I was so happy I was available. They planned their wedding in six weeks! I was blown away by their commitment to getting things checked off the seemingly never-ending, ever-growing wedding checklist. The way she described her vision for their day was perfect! The intimate gathering at Matt’s family farm on Saturday was low-key and filled with love. From their portraits to their dances, the ceremony with one of Matt’s longtime friends officiating to cutting the cake everything was planned out perfectly.

Sky and her bridesmaids and closest family members were pampered and got ready in the beautiful and spacious bridal suite at Hilltop Meadows Venue in Georgetown, Ohio. Billy and his groomsmen joined us later in the day for a few family portraits before the wedding.

Kylie has made it! She is a officially college graduate.. as of this weekend! She worked her way through college and is so excited to have her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. One of her first jobs on campus was a guide. As we were walking around the Wright State University campus she’d occasionally bring our her “tour guide voice” when she was telling us different facts about what we walked passed.

We arrived at the airport around 4pm and when we got off a man was waiting there with a cart and he took us right to bag check. I was thankful for him because while we would have found our way eventually, we were too tired to do anything. haha We checked our luggage and got food for late lunch/early dinner.

A couple weeks ago my husband and second photographer, Jordan, went down to Hillsboro, Ohio to celebrate a new event venue at their grand opening! It was a very exciting event! This venue has a modern rustic feel, is very secluded and intimate, and is very open and gorgeous!

Friday morning we took our time getting up and dressed, then we went down to the Landscape of Flavors restaurant and enjoyed a sit-down breakfast. It had been so long since we sat for breakfast; that was nice!

Traveling to Magic Kingdom was fairly easy at this point. We had become experts at this part! Almost. Lol The trip back was a different story, but more on that later. We found our way to Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid and Lucas got to experience this ride for the first time and Dottie enjoyed it a third time!

The first labor and delivery I was able to be part of was my sister’s. That was when I was still in high school almost eight years ago! I left church camp early to be there and it was perfect! Vivian was born that day, my first niece. I was so honored to be part of that. And I have been so honored to be part of my sister’s next two labor and delivery experiences with Charlotte and Averie.
